Session Outline
Are you thinking of developing a new programme? Have you got an idea of a programme or external collaboration using existing curriculum.
This session will explore the four stages of the curriculum development process including seeking planning approval, peer review, academic approval and post approval actions. There will be plenty of time to ask questions in order to apply the process to your own context and academic partner.
The first in a series of sessions focussed on programme approval and re-approval, it will be delivered by Sharon Rankin, Faculty Liaison Lead in Learning, Teaching and Students. This session is mandatory for you if you wish to develop a new programme and you only need to attend once. It may also be of use to all colleagues who have an interest in quality and would like to learn more about the planning and approval process.
