The hoodies and beanies in this exclusive range are custom-made by our trusted local supplier, Logo Orkney. With attention to detail and quality craftsmanship, our clothing reflects the spirit and pride of our community. You’ll find a variety of stylish options that cater to different tastes and preferences, ensuring there's something for everyone to showcase their affiliation with our institution.

The traditional (and, dare we say, iconic!) INS logo is embroidered on each item and we hope that this range of clothing will have something for everyone!

Hoodies are available in both Unisex and Women's Fit. If you are ordering a mix of fits/colours/sizes, please follow the instructions on the form. As a reminder, hoodies are £40 per item, beanies £20. Shipping is £4.50 per order. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer international shipping. UK & ROI only.

Please don't worry if your confirmation is delayed - our administrator will be handling all ordering & shipping, as well as their usual duties within the INS, and may need to prioritise accordingly.

Production of your hoodie or beanie will only be implemented upon payment. Each item is made to order and none are held in stock.

How to Order content

How to Order

To order your INS hoodie or beanie:

  • Click the button showing the colour options available
  • Browse through the colour and design options for your hoodie or beanie
  • Scroll down to the 'Buy Now' button and click through to the online form
  • Fill out the form to submit your order
  • A confirmation email will then be sent to your email
  • Click through to payment, and once you have paid, production will be implemented.
  • Your order will be shipped to you (please note we cannot at present fulfil international orders)

Hoodies are £40 per item, Beanies £20 plus postage and packing of £4.50 per order. Unfortunately, we currently cannot offer international shipping; we only offer shipping to the UK and ROI.

No returns except in cases of serious faults. In cases of serious fault, we’ll exchange like-for-like. Buyers have 14 calendar days from delivery to notify the UHI Institute for Northern Studies of any problems.
