Vicki Nairn
Vicki Nairn is the 4th Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI). With extensive experience of executive leadership experience across both public and private sectors Vicki’s extensive background includes advising the Scottish Government on remote and rural issues and serving on various national higher education and public sector boards. She is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, specialising in strategic partnerships.
As Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Vicki leads UHI’s strategic intent, which emphasises delivering outstanding teaching, research and knowledge exchange across the Highlands and Islands, Moray and Perthshire. Her leadership focuses on fostering a more integrated future for UHI, ensuring that the institution continues to serve its students, staff and communities effectively.
